When our trained lactation specialist delivers your order, she'll teach you how to use the breast pump, baby scale, and any of the other products you select. If your Medela or Ameda pump fails within the warranty period, we will either replace it for you on the spot or loan you a free rental pump until your new pump arrives.

Home or Office Lactation Visits
If you are concerned about whether breasrtfeeding is going normally, call us. We can help you meet your breastfeeding goals even if you have challenges such as:
- difficult latch-on
- sore nipples
- breast refusal
- slow weight gain
- prematurity
- breast infection
- twins and triplets
At a lactation visit, a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) spends 1.5 to 2 hours with you and your baby. The IBCLC weighs your baby and can measure milk intake during breastfeeding. If your need is for a simple breastfeeding check-up, she evaluates how breastfeeding is going and provides you with all the information you need. If you are having a breastfeeding problem, she determines the cause of your problem and leaves you with a written, personalized lactation plan. She also teaches you techniques to make breastfeeding more comfortable and provides you with an overview of normal breastfeeding. Unlimited phone follow-up and office weight checks are included in the cost of the visit.
At the time of the visit we accept payment in the form of cash, check, or VISA, MasterCard, or Discover, and we give you an insurance superbill, which you can submit for reimbursement.
With the current cost of infant formula at $100-250 per month (at least $1200 during your baby's
first year), a lactation visit can be a great investment, both financially and for your baby's and
your own health.
