Ideal if you�re planning to pump less often than once a day�either very part-time work or occasional use. The Medela DoubleEase is a double version of Medela�s Mini Electric (see below). Because it gives fewer suction-and-releases per minute than the Medela Pump In Style or Ameda Purely Yours (above), it is not recommended for increasing milk supply or maintaining milk supply if you need to pump once a day or more.

Nurture III
Ideal if you'll be working part-time or plan to pump occasionally. Semi-automatic rather than automatic, which makes it different from the pumps above. Rather than just putting it to your breasts and relaxing, a semi-automatic breastpump requires you to actively generate and/or release the suction. With the Nurture III, this means you need to cover a hole on top of one of the collection bottles with a finger to generate suction and lift your finger off the hole to release suction. When used optimally, you can generate about 25 suction-and-release cycles per minute (which translates to covering and uncovering the hole 25 times every minute).
